What are the objectives for the Level 2 Certificate in Care Qualification?

This qualification is designed for the non-regulated workforce in health and adult social care.  The main objective of the qualification is to ensure that health and social care workers have the introductory skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe and high quality care and support to those they deal with in their daily working life.  It also reflects how these behaviours are underpinned by the Chief Nursing Officer’s 6Cs (care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment).
