As a member of the Senior Management Team with a wealth of expertise in strategic and operational leadership in the education arena. Kit has key responsibility for the SFJ Awards End-Point Assessment arm of the business and the Qualifications and Assessment Products function.
Kit has worked in education for over 25 years, both in further and higher education delivery, face to face classroom-based learning, working as an assessor and internal quality assurer and as an online tutor. Before specialising in apprenticeships, Kit managed a variety of work-based learning programmes, working with many large organisational development teams to plan and design work-based learning programmes.
Kit has a history of being accountable for compliance and working with regulatory bodies to ensure that funding criteria is met, and quality assurance procedures, policies and strategies are robust, ensuring that the apprentice is kept at the heart of design and delivery.
Kit has a Master’s in Education, Leadership, and Management and her dissertation focused on how apprenticeships are being used by public sector employers to plug skills gaps and address skills shortages.
Outside of work, Kit sings in a competitive barbershop chorus which competes internationally, is a keen badminton player and, if there is any time left, enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching Coronation Street.
