Domestic and Sexual Abuse Support Worker
The purpose of this occupation is to provide early intervention, specialist advocacy, and emotional and practical support to those who are experiencing and recovering from domestic abuse and/or sexual violence at all levels of risk.

Emergency Contact Handler
This occupation is found in organisations which receive contacts from members of the public who are in emergency and non-emergency situations.

- Typical duration: 12 months
- Typical organisations: Ambulance, fire, police, the NHS, National Highways, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
Peer Worker
This occupation is found in a range of services that embed peer-led roles within third sector, community, social enterprise and statutory sectors. Peer support has a longer history in social justice, human rights and community action. The occupation is unique in that it is only open to those who have expertise through lived experience.

Police Community Support Officer (PCSO)
PCSOs are community-based. Their primary function is to be the visible and uniformed presence of the police service in the community, fostering and promoting relationships across communities.
