Who we work with
End-Point Assessment (EPA)
SFJ Awards is the trusted and independent End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) of choice for public and private sector apprenticeships in protective services. We currently utilise our expert knowledge, skills and behaviours in the assessment of 11 different apprenticeship standards.
In our 22/23 financial year, we completed 1,257 EPAs, helping 448 firefighters, 87 Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), 126 emergency service contact handlers and 596 custody and detention staff to progress in their careers.

Quality Assurance
External quality assurance is an integral part of the SFJ Awards service. We appoint external quality assurers who regularly monitor centre compliance with regulations and best practice, and report on the progress of any agreed actions for quality improvement.
Our external quality assurers (EQAs) maintain our stringent quality standards so that centres, learners, and employers can feel confident that SFJ Awards qualifications are valued and credible.
