We’re seeking applications from candidates to become associate Independent Assessors and would like to hear form suitably qualified and experienced professionals who are interested in getting involved in this exciting area of work. Fill in this form to register your interest.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in the following areas:
- Emergency Services Contact Handling – those with recent and relevant experience based in the East and West Midlands
- Peer Worker – those with recent experience in peer work
- Anti-Social Behaviour and Community Safety – those with experience in housing or local authorities
- Non-Home Office Policing – including the Royal Navy Police, the Royal Military Police and the Ministry of Defence Police
- Youth Justice – those with a background in Youth Justice
- Custody and Detention – those with significant practical experience of working within the custodial sector
- Intelligence Analyst – those with significant practical experience of working in an intelligence role
To be considered, our Independent Assessors must have:
- A thorough knowledge of their occupational area
- Recent experience of their chosen occupational route (which demonstrates industry competence)
- (Desirable) An assessor qualification (Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment, Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, A1 or D32/33)
- Successful candidates will have a customer-focused approach, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills along with the ability to meet deadlines.
