What are the objectives for the Level 4 Award in Designing and Delivering Incident Command Training Qualification?
This qualification is aimed at incident command trainers for the fire and rescue sector. The objective of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to be able to design and deliver incident command training for the sector. This includes providing learners with an understanding of the wider context in which incident command operates.
What are the pre-entry requirements for the Level 4 Award in Designing and Delivering Incident Command Training?
To undertake this qualification learners will need to have a thorough understanding of the current frameworks, policies and environments that incident commanders are expected to operate within. Centres must also ensure that learners are able to complete this qualification, for example, through completing a skills scan to ensure they can work at the appropriate level.
Please note:
This qualification replaces the SFJ Awards Level 5 Award in Designing and Delivering Incident Command Training (603/2436/3) which is being withdrawn.
