Nominations are now open for the 2024 Inspire Justice Awards, sponsored by SFJ Awards.
Delivered by Skills for Justice and supported by People Plus Group, UNISON, HM Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS), SFJ Awards and Policing Insight/Policing TV, the Inspire Justice Awards celebrates and shines a light on the wider justice workforce that helps to keep our criminal justice system running smoothly.
The Inspire Justice Awards are the UK’s only awards programme dedicated to recognising the achievements of the entire justice system, returning for 2024 with the addition of three brand new award categories.
Designed to celebrate the achievements of the best and brightest from across the sector, the Inspire Justice Awards now features a total of 13 different categories following the introduction of the new Educator of the Year, Inspectorate Staff Member of the Year and Rehabilitation Worker of the Year Awards.
The categories for this year are:
- Apprentice of the Year – sponsored by SFJ Awards
- Courts and Tribunals Staff Member of the Year – supported by HMCTS
- Custody and Detention Staff Member of the Year
- Educator of the Year
- Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative – sponsored by People Plus Group
- Health and Wellbeing Employer
- Inspectorate Staff Member of the Year
- Learning and Development Programme
- Police Staff Member of the Year – sponsored by UNISON
- Probation Staff Member of the Year – sponsored by UNISON
- Prosecution Staff Member of the Year
- Rehabilitation Worker of the Year
- Voluntary Contribution to Community Safety and Justice
Nominations are welcomed from across the community, including from colleagues of the inspirational teams and individuals that represent some of the best and brightest members of the wider justice workforce.
Nominations open today (Thursday 23 May) and will close at midday on Thursday 20 June.
Following a rigorous judging process, finalists will be notified in August, before the winners are announced at an awards ceremony held at the QEII Centre in London on Thursday 12 September.
