We recently welcomed three new training providers as approved centres – meaning that each can now train and develop learners in SFJ Awards regulated qualifications and custom certification services (CCS).
Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service
Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service cover the whole of Northern Ireland, and join a number of fire and rescue services and training providers across the UK using SFJ Awards accredited qualifications to train and upskill the sector workforce. They now deliver the popular Initial Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services qualification.
Optimal Risk
Optimal Risk are part of a group of companies dedicated to addressing the threats and risks faced by people and organisations in the modern world. Specialising in security training, they are currently offering SFJ Awards’ suite of covert surveillance qualifications.
Red One
Red One are the commercial trading arm of Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, offering training and development opportunities across fire, rescue, and safety. As an approved centre they are currently delivering the Award in Compartment Fire Behaviour Training, the Award in Breathing Apparatus Instruction and Revalidation, and the Award in Positive Pressure Ventilation Training.
SFJ Awards are excited to be working alongside these, and all of our approved centres, together developing the capabilities of the UK’s workforces. Through our qualifications we are ensuring that our public services and those working to ensure community safety have world-leading training in order to deliver better outcomes.
