The national Our Health Heroes Awards are back for a sixth consecutive year, delivered by our sister organisation Skills for Health, and proudly sponsored by SFJ Awards, Health Education England, NHS Employers, UNISON, Bevan Brittan, and many more.
A lifelong learning culture is fundamental for NHS employers and staff who may spend their entire careers in the healthcare sector, which has changed dramatically since the NHS was born over 73 years ago.
Recognised as the leading national awards scheme for the roles that often go unnoticed by the public, the Our Health Heroes Awards celebrate individuals and teams often working ‘behind the scenes’ without whom the NHS simply could not survive.
As champions of exceptional learning and development programmes, apprenticeships and vocational qualifications, SFJ Awards are thrilled to be sponsoring the ‘Dedication to a Lifelong Learning Culture’ Award category. NHS and Healthcare employers who go above and beyond to support the ongoing learning and development of their workforce, throughout lifelong careers will be recognised as making a difference, as well as improving patient outcomes by enhancing skills.
