Heddlu Gwent Police is one of the 4 Welsh Police Services serving the communities of Wales. Gwent is made up of 5 Unitary Authorities, Blaneau Gwent, Caerphilly, Torfaen, Newport and Monmouthshire. We are an approved Centre that has been working with SFJ Awards for five years.
As part of our NPPF compliance and internal promotion processes, we offer the Level 4 Certificate in Police First Line Management and the Level 5 Certificate in Police Management for all newly promoted Sergeants and Inspectors respectively. We have a dedicated team of qualified assessors and quality assurance staff. In March 2020 we achieved direct claim status.
