SFJ Awards is pleased to announce that our Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness has now been accredited by Qualifications Scotland.
As qualification levels are structured differently in Scotland, this qualification has been mapped to the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) and recognised at Level 7. Therefore, the qualification will be known in Scotland as the SFJ Awards SCQF Level 7 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness.
Developed in partnership with the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO), the qualification is the only one endorsed by NaCTSO and Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP). It equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills to understand and assess terrorism-related risks and develop effective preparedness plans.
The qualification is designed for those responsible for protecting venues, sites and organisations across all sectors.
Centres in Scotland can now apply to become approved to deliver the qualification.
