*How will this help me be compliant with Martyn’s Law?

No single qualification can in itself can ensure compliance with the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (also referred to as Martyn’s Law). Compliance requires a structured organisational approach.

This qualification can provide the skills, knowledge and understanding that will inform your compliance efforts – with the added confidence that it has been designed and developed with experts from Counter-Terrorism Policing (CTP). Understanding attack methodologies, counter-terrorism risk assessments, preparedness plans, risk mitigations, and sources of support for protective security are key to understanding what your venue, site or organisation needs to do when designing compliance.

If your aim is to understand and take an organisational approach to compliance, the SFJ Awards qualification is the only CTP and National Counter-Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) endorsed training that has been developed for this purpose.
