Objective
Employment advisers support people to find suitable work, explore what skills and abilities they have and connect them with employers and training providers. Some Employment Advisers provide support to a wide range of people whilst others provide more specialist support.
The objective of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to deliver employment interventions in NHS Talking Therapies to clients with mental health needs.

To undertake this qualification learners will need to be working as an Employment Adviser delivering employment interventions in NHS Talking Therapies to clients with mental health needs. Centres must also ensure that learners are able to complete this qualification, for example, through completing a skills scan to ensure they can work at the appropriate level.
