Providing education and training in Wakefield since 1868, Wakefield College is committed to working in partnership with schools, employers and learning providers to transform learning, attainment, achievement and progression for everyone in the District and from further afield.

The College is home to over 8,000 students, of all ages and abilities, studying a broad range of courses, from pre-entry level through to higher education and professional qualifications.

At our Ofsted Inspection in December 2018, Ofsted stated “Wakefield College is a good College”

"Having almost completed my course I have found the knowledge, techniques and processes learned extremely useful. I have been able to apply them to my full-time work enabling me to improve the service level I can offer to customers. The college tutors have been very welcoming and helpful during my apprenticeship providing regular feedback and one to one sessions, this has certainly helped me achieve my best during the course."
