SFJ Awards Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Providing Security Services
The Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Providing Security Services is designed for learners who work or intend to work in the security sector. It covers a broad spectrum of areas within the security services, including door supervision, CCTV operation and working as a security officer. Transferable skills are also developed, including effective communication, customer service, the ability to contribute to meetings, problem-solving and effective leadership. Featuring optional units, it is possible for learners to choose certain areas of focus having covered the mandatory units.
This qualification is the Knowledge (Technical Certificate) component of the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Providing Security Services.
Qualification Withdrawal
This qualification is now being withdrawn. No further learners can be registered after 31 October 2022. All certifications of learners already registered on the qualification must be complete by 31 October 2023.
