SFJ Awards Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
The Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is a qualification aimed at individuals who intend to develop and gain formal recognition of their knowledge, understanding and competence of working as a health and safety practitioner.
The qualification is generic, so it is suitable for individuals in a position of responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of a team or organisation in a variety of sectors.
In the mandatory units, learners will cover the essentials of health and safety culture, policy, communications systems, individual and organisational competence, risk control, reactive and proactive monitoring systems, review systems, emergency response systems and procedures and improvements to influence health and safety practice.
What are the objectives of the Health and Safety Level 3 course?
Objectives of the SFJ Awards Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety qualification include: meeting relevant programmes of learning, preparing learners for employment and supporting a role in the workplace.
This qualification is being withdrawn and therefore no further learners can be registered after 30 September 2021. All certifications of learners already registered on the qualification must be complete by 30 September 2022.
